On September 11th, 2010 (ignore the date on the pic camera reset itself), I visited downtown Glendale to donate some stuffed animals to the Glendale Fire Department Trauma Teddy Program. The bears will be given to children who were involved in or witnessed traumatic events.
This is an annual event for the city of Glendale, so be sure to attend next September and donate your own stuffed animals to this program. Everyone who donates a stuffed animal receives a goodie bag with info about events going on around historic downtown Glendale during Teddy Bear Day.
For me, the highlight of Teddy Bear Day is visiting Cerreta Candy Company where I get to decorate a chocolate bear. Always a yummy treat!!
